Fall’s entrance was dramatic!
She certainly let us know she had arrived!
Gusts of wind and drops of rain quite climatic,
Showed us Fall had been revived.
She continued most of the day,
Her rampant weather to bestow,
And then summer jumped Into the fray
With a beautiful sunny rainbow!
But summer had to leave at last,
For her days are now all done.
And Fall returned with a chilly blast,
As her reign officially begun.

First Day of Fall 2013
High temps
Flowers in the sun
Concerned for their welfare
Awoke to find God watered them
Over night

Summertime weather ends
Flowers still blooming on the deck
Never give up on life

School Days begin
End of Summer activities
Pool time ends outdoors
Thoughts of Fall
Enjoying leaves changing
May need a sweater
Birds gathering to fly south
Each day gets shorter
Rains begin again

Cloudy
Rain predicted
Alarm clock is beeping
I awake and choose to sleep in
Good choice

Chilly cloudy June day
Running errands in the rain
Summer seems to have gone

Dark gray clouds hang overhead,
Their presence threatens to bring
An end to outdoor plans for the day,
Ominously, they hover and cling.
Everyone plans to seek cover,
If raindrops begin to fall.
Silently some sit, watch and wait,
While others gather to cover all.
The gray clouds slowly drift north,
Away from our area of concern.
White clouds reveal a sunny sky,
Sighs release, and smiles return.
Plans once again move forward,
As there’s no rain in sight.
The picnic proceeds outdoors in the park,
Stopping only as day turns into night.

This morning I am wondering
What this June day will bring
As dark clouds fill the sky
And the sun is nowhere nigh
My flowers heads hang low
As a chilly wind does blow
Then suddenly the clouds fade away
Giving me a beautiful sunny day!
June, each day you’re a surprise
And a morning wonder to my eyes
