Unique,
Trying to grow tall,
Feeling you don’t fit in
With all those who surround you.
Listen!
Listen!
Don’t you dare give up trying!
Look up, reach for the sky!
You do have a
Purpose.

Just a few small stones
And a little bit of time
Can brighten the day,
Create some happiness
For me to share with others
Tanka
I enjoyed painting some more inspirational rocks today to share near the path.
Many that I’d created last week were taken by those that passed by so I needed to replenish the area.
I am happy to see they are brightening people’s day.

I can,
You can, we can
Banish the can’t thinking
Never let that apostrophe
Control

#NaPoWriMo–Day 12–Prompt: Index Poem
This Index Poem was inspired by “Silver Boxes” a book written by Florence Littauer.
This wonderful book also inspired me in 1997 to start my encouragement ministry
“Smile God Loves You“

I was inspired to write this poem after watching this video
