Living Alphabetically

Alphabet letters

Appreciate beauty

Be present daily

Color your world with kindness

Decide to be positive

Encourage others to grow

Focus on today

Give smiles freely

Help those in need

Imagine great things

Jostle yourself to live life fully

Keep on making everyday count

Let the past remain there

Make everyday new

Notice nice little things

Open your mind to new opportunities

Ponder possibilities

Quickly forgive others

Valiantly seize the day

Walk in peace with purpose

X out all negativity

Yoke yourself to Christ

Zoom in on peace and happiness

In a Mirror

Puzzling refections

Living in this earthly life

Parcial, incomplete

His ways imperfectly seen

Until the time of perfection

Tanka

Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity.

All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.

1 Corinthians 13:12-13 NKJV

And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. Genesis 3:13

And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

Poem Dweller

Book with letters flowing out

Today

I live in a dictionary

With words as house mates

We’re building

Together

A poem

Called Meta

Composed of verses

It alphabetically speaks

In words

Reverse Mirror Cinquain/Meta poem

(One definition of Meta is: “pertaining to or noting an abstract, high-level analysis or commentary, especially one that consciously references something of its own type.”)

Living Life

Living in an imperfect world

With imperfect people

As we struggle to survive

Searching for answers

With imperfect people

We walk, talk and dwell

Searching for answers

Only God can help us achieve

We walk, talk and dwell

Climbing mountains

Only God can help us achieve

Are we willing to trust Him?

Climbing mountains

Living in an imperfect world

Are we willing to trust Him?

As we struggle to survive

Looking for Gumption

Nut tree orchard in winter

I’m fighting

The urge to not care

To give up

Abandon

All the minutes given

Me to use today

O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; Psalm 63:1

My Jewel

Sting of Pearls plant

Living String of Pearls

Sits upon my window sill

Silent Succulent

Haiku

(I just love my String of Pearls plant that I purchased last summer at our local Farmer’s Market. It sits on the a southern facing windowsill in my bedroom and really seems to like the filtered sunlight that streams thru as it has been steadily growing beautifully.)
