Worrying thoughts creep
Disturbing sleep
Fears rise steep
Calm hard to keep
Doubts start to heap
But faith runs deep
Causing joy to leap
Courage to seep
And victory does reap

Let us love one another as
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.” -Jesus John 13:34
Physically on earth
We will lose sometimes.
Yet, Spiritually,
We who are in Christ are winners,
For In Him is victory.

Today, on earth, the groundhog didn’t see his shadow so Spring won and Winter lost.
Today on earth, at the Super Bowl, the KC Chiefs won and the San Francisco 49ers lost.
Today, somewhere on earth, someone in the world received Christ as their Lord and Savior and the devil lost.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ 1Corinthians 15:57
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 1John 5:4
Breathe deep and dream!
Breathe deep, and face that fear!
Things aren’t futile as they seem,
Breathe deep and dream!
Life is just a balance beam,
Forward steps bring victory near,
Breathe deep and dream!
Breathe deep, and face that fear!

Christ, living in
Darkness
Ensnared, a

Not knowing the truth

Promises of God
Questioning life’s purpose
Running from truth, a
Stranger to the covenant of Promise
Then, through God’s grace
Understanding the gospel brought me to
Victory in Christ, and I was a
Wanderer no more, a
Xenos no more, I belonged and was
Yoked to Christ forever in

Stand still and you will see
The salvation of the Lord
Don’t look back, look at Me
Stand still and you will see
Deliverence! Free you’ll be
From that chronic pursuing hoard
Stand still and you will see
The salvation of the Lord

And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. Exodus 14:13
Come follow me, I’ll never leave you
I’ll show you all the things you must do
To win life’s battles against your foe
And gain victory no matter where you go
You’ll be more than a conqueror, it tis true
Your enemies will always pursue
But them you’ll always mightily subdue
Together them we’ll overthrow
Come follow me
You’ll never be alone, for it’ll be us two
I’ll lead and guide and bring you through
In every challenge you’ll conquer and grow
Power and victory you’ll always bestow
Everyday I’ll give you victories anew!
Come follow me

On Excelsior!
Higher and always upward,
Though shades of night fall,
Your youth shall bring victory!
Though sadness and sorrow
Threaten in the storms of life,
Carry your banner high!
Faint thee not! Excelsior!
Your help comes from above!

What can I say,
About this day?
If my wish were a horse,
I’d have used force,
And just galloped away,
Have my way, and not stay.
But determination won,
And I didn’t run!
This day was not fun,
But now it’s done.
I didn’t give up!
I drank of its bitter cup,
And I came thru,
Battered ‘tis true,
A bit worse for the wear,
But I don’t care!
I didn’t taste defeat,
And Victory’s so sweet!
