Come sit awhile
Relax after a long day
Solitude awaits
As nature surrounds you
With evening breezes
That carry cares away
Bringing joy to your ears
The lullabies of songbirds
Cuddling their young in their nests
Choka

Twenty Two days since
June arrived to bring us
Summertime again
How long we have waited
Anticipating
The sunshine to greet us
Each morning we woke
And now in the midst of it
We treasure each moment
Choka
Each day is a delight
My garden is my happy place
Visitors welcomed

As my grand-daughter and I sat out on my patio chatting and drinking our coffee this past Sunday afternoon a Raven stopped by for a visit. He must have been very thirsty because he wasn’t at all shy or fearful. He just flew right in so very close to us and proceeded to drink from the birdbath which was less than 12” from where we were sitting! Such a fun experience and visit! Glad we had our cell phone cameras to capture the moment. 😊

Kindness is always welcomed
Peace is precious
Love is the greatest treasure
Hope is an anchor
Joy is contagious-give some away

I had been wanting to create a place to share my painted rocks with others and also offer the opportunity for others to place and share rocks they paint, so after several months of hoping, dreaming, planning and praying it came to fruition in a wonderful way and today it was completed! I am very happy with how it all turned out and feel blessed that it has already been noticed, used, and admired by many in my neighborhood. I am hoping now that it continues to grow and expand!
He offers abundance
To those who will believe
All are welcome

“Come and see the works of God; He is awesome in His deeds toward the children of men” Psalm 66:5 AMP

On a red carpet
Tossing leaves of welcome
November swept in
As the barren trees shivered
And the crescent moon vanished

This little cloud was hovering over Memphis Airport the day we landed there.
While we were waiting for the Hotel Shuttle to pick us up I happened to look up at the sky and saw only this one cloud and snapped a picture. Just yesterday I was going thru my pictures and I noticed the cloud has a happy face!
Do you see the two eyes and smiling mouth? This is not Photoshopped!
We had a Happy Cloud welcoming us to Memphis! 🙂
