I saw hints of Autumn
And I’m not ready to bid Summer

I realized today that August is nearly over and that in about one month Autumn will arrive and I am not at all ready for that!
Summer got started here a month late, and I’m just not looking forward to losing those long warm sunny days yet.
Ah, but every year I fight a losing battle as Summer runs and Winter walks and I can’t do anything about it.

It was about 86′ here today and sunny until late afternoon when it started to cloud over, but no rain. I don’t look forward to autumn either. As you said, summer runs, and winter walks. Maybe even crawls some years.
It was cloudy and rainy here again today.😥 it’s supposed to get sunny and warm up again tomorrow. I sure hope so!
