Are you
Fashioning some
Ordinary moments
Into remarkable junctures
Today?

Yesterday’s sunshine,
Was washed away overnight.
Rain clouds now I see.
What difference a day makes!
Things change so quickly.
Moments turn to memories,
Reminding me to:
Capture the sunny days,
Before they fade away.

Yesterday was 72 degrees, sunny, no wind, and a wonderful day to be outside in nature. Today is 52 degrees, rainy, chilly and cloudy. A great day to huddle inside and read or write.
Therefore, I am thankful I was able to capture some of yesterday’s sunshine in the video above as I happened to be outside in the right place at the right time! 😊
This video is now delightful to watch on this rainy cloudy chilly day that has arrived. Hope it brightens your day also wherever you may be.

I am right here
I am in your now
I am very near
I am right here
My word is clear
I keep my vow
I am right here
I am in your now
Triolet

God says His name is I AM
He is God of the present, the now.
He says:
“When you live in the past with its mistakes and regrets, it is hard for you because I am not there.
My Name is not: I WAS.”
“When you live in the future with its unknowns and fears, it is hard for you because I am not there.
My Name is not: I WILL BE.”
“But when you live in this moment, it is not hard, because I am here. My Name is: I AM.”

( quote from A Reminder from God on SGLY Ministry website. )

The past,
And the future.
The two thieves of our thoughts,
That rob today of its potential
For good.

Years, Tears, and Fears
Evaporated and gone.
Seasons and Reasons in
Time have passed on.
Each moment now spent
Reliving them is pointless.
Days of old are done,
All just memories of the Past.
Yearning won’t bring them back.
Seek today and live!
Acrostic

The old has gone,
And the new has come.
Embrace it!
Receive it!
In gladness the past go, grasp
The future and run!

Is short
Waste not.
Time is precious
Record memories.
Capture each moment
But dont dwell there, move on.
Fixate your mind on the future.
Wake every morning and proclaim:
“The Past has no Present in my Future”

Thanks to my daughter, Laura, for the last line which inspired me to write this poem.

Being
Here I am
Living in the Present
Becoming whom I was meant to be
Created for a purpose by Creator
God Almighty, who is the Great I AM
Sensing my destiny
I live Now
