Leaf on sidewalk
Living 

Among shadows

Of the past’s occurances

Alone I face the future

Certain

That my life was not in vain

It was orchestrated

For a purpose

Fulfilled

Butterfly Cinquain

Standing Ovation

This very place

Where I once stood

Weak and frightful

Wondering if I could

Now I stand

And all’s well and good

I’m feeling strong

As I hoped I would

This brings the thought

Had I not in Him stood

If life now

Would be this good

It would not

For its understood

In His great strength

Is my livelihood

Rhyme

Bound about my neck,

Written on my heart’s tablet,

See Mercy and Truth.

I will keep them very close.

If they never leave,

I will find high esteem and

I will find favor,

With God and with all mankind.

This is the word of the LORD.
